Frequently Asked Questions
Before an Engagement
What does Panther & Cub do?
We provide strategy, marketing, development, e-commerce, creative production, and infrastructure services. Start with the Service Overview.
What if I do not know which service I need?
Describe the business outcome and current problem. An audit or consultation may be appropriate when the cause or implementation path is unclear.
Do you work internationally?
Yes. Panther & Cub LLC is a Michigan limited liability company and can work remotely with customers in other locations, subject to service, legal, tax, payment, and scheduling requirements. Unless an Order states otherwise, pricing is in USD.
Will you sign an NDA?
The Customer Terms include confidentiality obligations. A separate mutual NDA may be considered when reasonably necessary before sensitive information is disclosed.
Can I review the terms before purchasing?
Yes. The Legal Center publishes the standard Customer Terms, service terms, and policies. The Order identifies the documents that apply to a specific engagement.
Scope, Fees, and Timing
How much will my engagement cost?
It depends on the scope, risk, workload, schedule, and third-party requirements. Only a written Order provides current engagement-specific fees. See Pricing and Billing.
How quickly can work begin or launch?
Availability and duration depend on the engagement and its dependencies. Dates are estimates unless the Order expressly makes a date a firm commitment. See Timelines and Scheduling.
Can I request changes after work begins?
Yes. We assess the effect on fees, timing, risk, and other work before proceeding. Approval requirements are described in Collaboration and Change Control.
How do flexible monthly engagements work?
The Order can provide either usage-based monthly capacity, where the customer pays for actual approved time up to a ceiling, or reserved capacity, where a fixed recurring fee holds agreed availability. Unused capacity does not roll over unless the Order expressly says otherwise. See Flexible Monthly Services.
Are revisions, training, or post-launch support included?
Only when stated in the Order. The number of revisions, review window, acceptance criteria, documentation, training, correction period, maintenance, and support should be confirmed before acceptance.
Ownership and Accounts
Who owns the final work?
The Order and applicable service terms determine ownership and license rights. Rights in custom deliverables may transfer after full payment, while reusable Panther & Cub materials and third-party components retain their existing ownership and license terms.
Who should own platform and advertising accounts?
Where practical, business accounts, domains, data, and billing relationships should remain under customer ownership, with Panther & Cub receiving only the access required for the engagement.
Hosting and Ongoing Operation
Do you provide hosting and business email?
Yes. Review Managed Hosting, Business Email Hosting, and the dedicated Hosting Documentation.
Does hosting include backups, maintenance, monitoring, or guaranteed uptime?
Not automatically. The hosting subscription includes only the infrastructure and administration stated in the Order. Hosting is not a backup, and no uptime, retention, recovery, monitoring, or application-maintenance commitment applies unless purchased in writing.
What happens after a project ends?
The parties complete the handoff stated in the Order. Any correction period, support, maintenance, hosting, or continuing work is limited to what the Order includes or what is purchased separately.
