Getting to know us​

This is the only page where we're going to talk loose. Think of it like a 15-minute coffee break—you know, that time in the day when you actually get to know the person sitting next to you, not just what project they're working on. We've still got a full workday ahead (realistically more like 12 hours for us if we're being honest), so we figured this is a good time for you to get to know us as people, not just another service provider.

We're the kind of team that genuinely gets excited about a clean database migration. The kind that will text you at midnight because we just optimized your checkout flow and can't wait to tell you about it. We debate the merits of different hosting providers the way normal people debate sports teams.

Most agencies will tell you what you want to hear. We're more likely to tell you that you don't need the thing you're about to spend $15K AUD on, then send you a three-page explanation of why. It's not that we don't like revenue—we just like sleep more than we like explaining to you in six months why we didn't talk you out of a bad idea.

We built this business around a simple philosophy: do great work for people we actually like, stay small enough that quality doesn't suffer, and go home at a reasonable hour to spend time with our families. (The reasonable hour part is aspirational. We're working on it.)

The truth is, we're not trying to be the biggest. We're trying to be the team that a handful of great businesses trust with their most complex problems. The ones where the founder has our cell numbers and knows we'll pick up. The ones who stopped interviewing other agencies because they realized we actually care about their business staying profitable more than we care about upselling them.

If you're looking for an agency that'll wow you with a pitch deck and expensive lunches, we're probably not your people. But if you want a team that'll obsess over your infrastructure like it's ours, talk you out of expensive mistakes, and send you performance reports at odd hours because we're genuinely proud of the work—yeah, we might be a fit.
