Before You Edit

  • Make substantial changes in an unpublished duplicate of the theme.
  • Keep the previous published version until the new storefront is verified.
  • Record custom code, app embeds, and integrations that may need to be reapplied after an update.
  • Test mobile and desktop navigation, products, variants, search, cart, forms, policy links, and the purchasing journey before publishing.

Shopify interfaces, platform capabilities, and app behavior can change. If a label in the guide differs from your store, use the closest current theme-editor setting and confirm that you are viewing the intended Label One version.

For help locating a setting or diagnosing a theme issue, email [email protected] with the store URL, theme version, affected template, steps to reproduce, and screenshots. Do not email storefront passwords or collaborator codes.
