Newsletter Section
This guide describes setting up the Newsletter section.
Use this section to create an email signup form that allows customers to subscribe to your store's newsletter. This is a required section for the Shopify Theme Store.
For general guidance with modifying sections, refer to [Sections overview], and [Shopify help: Sections and blocks].
Set up a Newsletter section
- Go to Customize theme
- In Theme editor, select the page where you want to add the Newsletter
- Select "Add section" > "Newsletter"
Note: This section cannot be added to header areas.
Configuration
Content Settings

| Title text size | Choose from XS to XL. Default is M (text-base) |
| Subheading | Rich text description. Default is "Receive special offers and first look at new products." |
| Text size | Choose from S to 4XL with responsive options. Default is M (text-base) |
Section Settings
| Setting name | Description |

| Horizontal spacing | Choose None, Small, Medium, or Large. Default is none |
| Section padding | Adjust top and bottom independently (0-100px). Default is 0px |
| Color scheme | Select color scheme to match your design. Default is scheme-1 |
| Alternative color | Toggle alternative navigation link colors. Default is false |
| Indent section | Add left/right edge indentation. Default is false |
Note: When customers sign up, an account is automatically created for them in Shopify. You can view subscribed customers in your Shopify admin under Customers with the "Accepts marketing" filter.
